This red military switch guard was designed for critical aerospace and military applications to prevent accidental switch actuation. It is especially recommended for use on starter switches. When the guard is in the closed position, the switch toggle can only be in the down position. Moving the toggle to the up position requires a separate motion of opening the switch guard, but closing the guard automatically brings the switch to the down position.
